The Beechwood Student Ministries program seeks to effectively reach students in 6th through 12th grades with spiritual support. This involveds much effort in providing a well-balanced, multi-level discipleship ministry. Students in our ministries can be in very different places on their spiritual journey.


Where are you in your journey?

Entry Level - I'm checking it out
      Mainly focused on the purposes of Fellowship and Evangelism

The purpose of the entry level is to reach the curious, the fun-seekers, the non-interested and the secular - to expose new people to Jesus Christ in a positive way and see them either accept Christ or leave closer to accepting Him.

Entry Level Programs at Beechwood

  1. Various social events (approximately monthly) concerts, sporting events, bonfires, movie nights, etc.

Growth Level - I'm going deeper
     Mainly focused on the purposes of Discipleship and Worship

During this stage, the adult leadership team spends time building relationships in order to create an environment of love, trust and acceptance which will in turn facilitate an atmosphere conducive to producing growing disciples.

Growth Level Programs at Beechwood

  1. Roots (senior high school youth group) and Livewire (middle school youth group) meetings
  2. Small Groups - at various times and locations throughout the week
  3. "I Believe" profession of faith mentoring program - offered at least once annually
  4. Renewal Services - Services of Spiritual renewal and healing offered regularly throughout the year.

Ministry Level - I'm using my gifts and serving
     Mainly focused on the purpose of Ministry

The purpose of the ministry level is to provide opportunities for students who have excelled in the growth phase and deeply desire to use their lives and spiritual gifts to expose others to Christ througth word and deed.

Ministry Level Programs at Beechwood

  1. Local service opportunities (6 to 8 times throughout the year)
  2. Mission trips - offered annually
  3. Student Leadership Group - Catalyst
  4. Network - Curriculum designed to identify spiritual gifts

Multiplication Level - I'm a part of making more disciples
     Mainly focused on the purpose of Evangelism

As the ministry progresses, there will be students who move from the entry level through the growth and ministry levels and who are now ready and want to be a part of leading others through the same process.

Multiplication Level Programs at Beechwood

  1. Alpha (leadership and invitation)
  2. "Becoming a Contagious Christian" class
  3. Many opportunities to invite friends to Entry level programs
